Memorial's Smith sweeps gymnastics events
Janesville Craig's gymnastics team wrapped up the Big Eight dual meet schedule with a loss to Madison Memorial on Thursday night.
Caroline Smith won all four events plus the all-around to lead the Spartans to a 133.5-128.05 victory.
Craig finished 3-3 in conference duals.
"The girls are cleaning up their routines and headed in the right direction at this time of the season, which is very nice to see," Craig coach Jean Welch said.
Ashley McGoey was second on floor exercise and balance beam for Craig, while Ashley Pohlman was second on vault.

All-around—1. Smith (MM), 36.65; 2. Goetz (MM), 32.525; 3. Sarah Holford (JC), 30.45.
