-- AMY M. SCHOVILLE, 27, of 343 College St., Milton, at 5 a.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department on charges of burglary and property damage. A cellphone was reported stolen and smashed.
-- CHRISTOPHER L. HESGARD, 38, of 847 Sussex Drive, Janesville, at 2:29 a.m. Wednesday at home on a charge of strangulation.
-- CHARLES R. GARNETT, 21, of 149 Fremont St., Janesville, at 8:40 a.m. Jan. 27 at Main and Van Buren on charges of intimidating a witness and suspicion of parole violation.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- RICHARD A. HARDY, 57, of 102 S. Jackson St., Apt. 202B, Albany, at 9:45 p.m. Saturday on Highway 59 near Highway 104 in the town of Magnolia. He was arrested after he lost control of his SUV, which swerved across the centerline and rolled in the middle of the road. He also was ticketed for failure to have control. He was treated and released from Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

-- BURGLARY reported at 8:03 p.m. Jan. 29 to a home in the 800 block of Milton Avenue in Janesville. A homeowner told police she screamed when a door was kicked in. She didn't think the burglars came into the house. Nothing was reported stolen.
Charged
-- CEDRICK L. ROBINSON, 37, of 855 Burton Ave., Beloit, with party to robbery and party to misdemeanor mistreatment of animals. Robinson is accused of punching a man in the face and taking $700 and clothing from a home on Milwaukee Street in Clinton on Dec. 31. Another individual struck the resident's dog with a baseball bat and knocked out the dog.
-- KRISTIN L. FAGER, 19, of 308 S. Jackson St., Janesville, with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. She was arrested after an officer reported finding marijuana in her car after pulling her over on Saturday in Janesville.
-- CHAD V. DAMPIER, 36, 2343 Green Valley Drive, Janesville, with nine counts of forgery. He is accused of cashing 17 stolen checks between Dec. 21 and Dec. 28 at a Janesville gas station. The checks were written for a total of $2,065.
-- ZOE F. GETZELS, 21, of 700 College St., No. 864, Beloit, with party to attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud. She is accused of trying to fill a forged prescription for Oxycodone in January at an Edgerton pharmacy.
-- WESTON M. HOARE-BALTES, 19, of 161 N. Union Road, Brooklyn, with burglary and theft. He is accused of taking tools and a toolbox on Dec. 20 from a pole shed on West Holt Road in the town of Union.
-- LEO A. FEHR, 27, of 21 N. Pearl St., No. 4, Janesville, with attempting to deliver an imitation controlled substance. He is accused of trying to give acid papers to two people on Jan. 29 in Janesville. He later told an officer the paper was a calendar.

Intoxicated driving arrests
-- SARA K. PERSMAN, 28, Brodhead, at 3:23 a.m. Sunday in the N2400 block of County T, town of Spring Grove. She also was cited for failure to keep vehicle under control.
-- RYAN C. CLEMENTS, 32, Brodhead, at 6:12 a.m. Saturday in the N4600 block of Highway 104, town of Decatur. It is listed as his second intoxicated-driving arrest. He also was cited for operating after revocation and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
