— A city man last week changed his plea to guilty of five counts of possession of child pornography.

Alan J. Mursa, 29, of 569 N. Pearl St., Janesville, pleaded guilty Thursday, according to online court documents. He is scheduled to be sentenced April 17.

Mursa was arrested in December 2011 after Rock County Sheriff's Office detectives executed a search warrant at his home.

During preliminary investigation, detectives found more than 600 files containing child pornography on Mursa's computer, according to a sheriff's office news release.

Mursa was released from jail Dec. 5 on a $1,250 cash bond.
