Burlington downs Delavan-Darien
Burlington tuned up for Friday night's first-place showdown with Wilmot by rolling over Delavan-Darien on Tuesday night.
Carson Briedrzycki scored 13 of his game-high 20 points in the first quarter as the visiting Demons pulled away for a 65-45 Southern Lakes win.
Burlington led 17-9 after the first quarter and 34-20 at the half.
James Penzel added 13 for Burlington and Jayden Essmann chipped in 10. Delavan-Darien did not have a player in double figures.
Burlington holds a one-game lead over Wilmot with one game left following the Panthers' loss to Union Grove on Tuesday.
