Intoxicated driving arrests
-- CODY T. CARNEY, 24, of 4405 S. Oakley Road, Janesville, at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at Centerway and Parker Drive, Janesville.

-- BURGLARY reported at 2:10 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of South Coon Island Road in the town of Spring Valley. Reported stolen were an extension cord and wire valued at $50.
-- FRAUD reported Monday by a Janesville woman whose tax preparer tried to file her taxes and received a message that the tax return had already been filed. The woman told police she would contact the Internal Revenue Service to find out what happened.
Fires
-- HOUSE FIRE at 4305 N. County M, Evansville, at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday. The fire started in the wall near a wood stove. Damage was minimal, but no estimate was available, according to the fire department.
