Alf leads Milton gymnasts

Jessica Alf won three events and the all-around Tuesday night to lead Milton High's gymnastics team to a nonconference win over Janesville Parker.

The Red Hawks finished with a score of 132.40, while the Vikings totaled 122.575.

Parker's Hailey Leisten won floor exercise and was second in all-around.

"Hailey's been very consistent all season for us," Parker coach Cathy Lehmann said. "And I also thought Marissa Ruchti and Cara Fleming did a real nice job for us tonight."

Alf won vault, uneven bars and balance beam, and finished with an all-around score of 35.85.

Parker competes in a Big Eight Conference dual meet Thursday at Middleton.
