Rebounding proved to be the downfall Wednesday night for the UW-Rock County women's basketball team.

UW-Fox Valley outrebounded the Rattlers 61-33 in pulling away for a 69-57 Wisconsin Collegiate Conference win in Oshkosh.

Rock County (9-6, 8-4) got 19 points from Courtney Draeving and a career-high 15 points from Evansville graduate Leeanna Kinney but could not overcome the decided mismatch on the boards.

"It was a very poor defensive effort on our part and it started with our rebounding," Rock County coach Scott Lee said. "We just didn't bring the energy we needed to to play with a team like Fox Valley.

"We're trying to find ourselves right now coming off the break and missing a couple of key players."
