Fairbanks sweeps Janesville

FAIRBANKS, ALASKA — The Fairbanks Ice Dogs limited the Janesville Jets to one goal in two games in sweeping the NAHL weekend series.

Devin Loe scored twice Saturday night to lead the Ice Dogs to a 3-1 win. Fairbanks won 4-0 on Friday night.

Janesville's Nick Albergo tied the game at 1-1 at 2:41 of the first, but Loe gave Fairbanks the lead for good with his first goal at 14:39 of the second.

Brock Kautz suffered the loss in goal.

The Jets will stay in Alaska and play Kenai River in a two-game series this weekend.
