Man accused of sexually assaulting girl

JANESVILLE — A town of Rock man is in custody at the Rock County Jail on a charge that he repeatedly sexually assaulted a Rock County girl between September 2010 and September 2012.
Gabriel A. Rivera, 31, of 6219 S. Highway 51, No. 301, Janesville, is charged with repeated sexual assault of a child. He is accused of assaulting the girl in a number of her relatives’ homes in Beloit, the town of Rock and Whitewater, according to the criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court.
Rivera and the girl knew each other. The girl was a preteen and a teen during the reported assaults.
He is in custody at the Rock County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court this afternoon.
