Verona takes over All-Big Eight squad
Verona dominated the All-Big Eight Conference boys hockey selections.
The Wildcats, the WIAA state runner-up, had three players on the first team. Verona senior forward Zach Jones was the Player of the Year. Jones had 52 points on the season, including a Big Eight-best 28 goals.
Janesville Bluebird sophomore defenseman Harry Henschler was honorable mention.
