Craig plans academic honors event

— Craig High School will honor 338 students for their academic achievement at the annual Academic Recognition Ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.

The public is welcome to attend the program in the auditorium of the school, 401 S. Randall Ave.

The program will include congratulatory addresses from Principal Alison Bjoin and from Will Waite, a 1997 Craig graduate.

The ceremony recognizes students who are in the top 15 percent of their class or students who have earned a 3.70 grade point average in each semester.

One semester entitles a student to a certificate, three semesters qualifies for a letter, five semesters qualifies for a pin and seven semesters qualifies a student for a plaque.

These seniors will receive plaques for qualifying for seven semesters: Nicole Armi, Eliza Arndt, Teryn Bordwell, Lucas Canik, Kara Chung, Elizabeth Dabrowski, Erik Davis, Eric DeCremer, Ellen Golackson, Michael Hanke, Caitlin Heider, Ashley Hermanns, Tiffany Kath, Sarah Kaveggia, Allison Kitching, Dalton Labelle, Troy Malmanger, Ashley McGoey, Connor McMahon, Kaitlin Meinders, Mieke Miller, Miranda Mishleau, Hannah Northup, Lee Ping Ong, Drew Overly, Eric Paulos, Ashley Pohlman, Stephanie Potter, Ethan Reilly, Sydney Resler, Marisa Richter, Adam Rieder, Hannah Rudkin, Regan Sitorius, Emily Splan, Logan Stiegman, Kayla Strunz, Jane Swingle, Bailee Terry, Kirsten Triller, Katherine Villa, Elizabeth Weirich and Lauren Wilcox.
