Arrests
-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE GIRL at 11:16 a.m. Thursday at Highway 51 and Townline Road in the town of Rock with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and criminal damage to property. She is accused of throwing a rock through the window of a car driven by an 18-year-old Beloit woman who was driving on Highway 51.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- LEVI R. STUVENGEN, 21, of 404 E. Spring St., Orfordville, at 2:13 a.m. Monday. Stuvengen was driving north on Jackson Street near McKinley Street in Janesville. He drifted to the right and struck a parked car. Everyone in the car left the scene of the accident and were found a short time later a few blocks away. Stuvengen also was ticketed for causing injury by intoxicated driving, failure to have control and making a false 911 call. Police think Stuvengen called 911 after the crash to report his car stolen.
-- DUSTIN D. LEAN, 27, of 541 Lake Drive Road, Apt. H, Edgerton, at 6:47 p.m. March 14 at Highway 51 and Fulton Center Drive in the town of Fulton on a charge of operating after use of controlled substance. An officer pulled over Lean after an employee at Stop-N-Go, 1 S. Main St., Edgerton, reported Lean left the gas station without paying for fuel. A deputy smelled marijuana, and Lean said he had marijuana in his pocket. He also was ticketed for operating without a valid license.
-- MARTINEZ M. WHITE, 24, of 2309 Harvard Drive, No. 23, Janesville, at 4:27 a.m. Sunday on East Milwaukee Street at Elm Lane, Janesville.

-- ATTEMPTED BURGLARY to a home on South County H, town of Newark, reported at 7:02 p.m. Thursday.
-- BURGLARY to a garage in the 1100 block of South Pearl Street, Janesville, reported at 2:20 p.m. Sunday. Reported taken was a 2.5-gallon plastic gas can.
-- BATTERY AND ATTEMPTED ROBBERY around 8 p.m. Sunday on Milton Avenue at Morse Street, Janesville. A Janesville man told police two men beat him and tried to rob him. He said he wasn’t going to report the incident, but then he decided to go to the emergency room because his ankle was bothering him.
-- SHOT FIRED in the 1900 to 2000 blocks of North Washington Street, Janesville, at about 10:30 p.m. Monday. Police are investigating after someone reported hearing a shot. No injuries or arrests have been reported.
Accidents
-- MILWAUKEE STREET AND WRIGHT ROAD in Janesville at 8:29 a.m. Monday. Roberta E. Keller, 56, of 3231 Turnberry Drive, Janesville, was driving south on Wright Road. Alan B. Latta, 73, of 1838 Green Forest Run, No. 106, Janesville, was driving east on Milwaukee Street. The cars collided in the intersection. A passenger in Latta’s vehicle, Sandra M. Latta, 73, same address, was transported to a hospital with injuries, but her condition was not available. Keller was ticketed for failure to yield.
