Wisconsin group to discuss offerings at new aging, disability centers

JANESVILLE The opening of the new Aging and Disability Resource Centers in Rock and Dane counties will be the featured topic of the Coalition of Wisconsin Aging Groups’ spring District 1 meeting Friday, April 5, at The Gathering Place, 715 Campus St.
The event will feature both a short business meeting and a listening session with Rock and Dane county representatives. Topics will focus on senior health care security, senior financial security and other senior issues.
CWAG is a nonprofit statewide membership organization that focuses on improving quality of life for people of all ages through leadership development, legal and legislative advocacy, public education and public policy development.
District 1 includes a 12-county area in southern Wisconsin that extends from Juneau County to Dodge and Jefferson counties, to the Wisconsin state line and Grant County.
Members and nonmembers of all ages are invited to attend.
