Illinois man charged with selling drugs

— An Illinois man is charged with three felonies after police found 47 baggies of crack cocaine and a gallon bag of marijuana in his backpack in a Janesville home.

Charged is Demario D. Foster, 22, Alsip, Ill., with delivering cocaine, two counts of felony cocaine possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Foster was arrested at 6 p.m. Monday after Janesville police executed a search warrant at 825 Sherman Ave., Janesville.

Foster is accused of selling cocaine to a confidential police informant.

Police reported finding one Ecstasy pill, 47 baggies containing crack cocaine and a baggie containing 293 grams of marijuana, according to the criminal complaint filed in Rock County Court.
