Emory “Jack” Crookshanks, 66, of Janesville, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at home. He was born in Cornstalk, WV, on Jan. 27, 1942, son of Francis Crookshanks. He had been a Janesville resident most of his life. He married Sandra Beilharz in 1970, and they were divorced in 1993. Jack had been employed by Stella Cheese, formerly Universal Foods, Beloit.
He is survived by his six children: Ann Crookshanks, Paul (Tamera) Crookshanks, Peter Crookshanks, Stephen Crookshanks, Julie (Dan) Nyhus/Crookshanks and Aaron (Danyel) Crookshanks, all of Janesville; 14 grandchildren; five siblings; several foster brothers and sisters; family friend, Steve Fred Richards; many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his mother and six siblings.
