John "Jack" Campbell, Williams Bay/Delavan  (1925 - 2008)

John “Jack” Campbell, 82, of 340 W. Geneva St., Williams Bay, WI, died at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center on May 7, 2008. Jack was born on June 17, 1925, in Elgin, IL, the son of Charles and Edith (Brown) Campbell. Jack graduated from Elgin High School in 1943. He graduated from Lake Forest College in 1949. He entered the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II, and then served in the Korean War in the U.S. Air Force on a Medical Supply Team. Jack was a salesman in the Steel Fabrication and Specialty Products Industry. He was a member of the UCC-Congregational Church of Delavan. He married Diane Johnson in October 1993 in Scottsdale, AZ.
Jack is survived by his wife, Diane of Williams Bay; one son, John (Sherri) Campbell of Bettendorf, IA; daughter, Carol Campbell of Alexandria, VA; three stepdaughters: Deborah (Mark) Kanarowski of Geneva, IL, Pamela (Tom) Travis of Neillsville, WI, and Kim Travis of Williams Bay, WI; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the UCC-CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, Delavan, with the Rev. Laura McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin, IL. Friends may call at the CHURCH from 9 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to the church, VNA Hospice, or Pancreatic Cancer Network Foundation.
