Thomas J. Ford, Chandler, AZ/formerly Edgerton  (1942 - 2009)

Thomas J. Ford, 67, of Chandler, AZ, formerly of Edgerton, died on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. Tom was born on April 15, 1942, to James T. and Margaret (Burns) Ford. Tom graduated from Edgerton High School in 1960 and UW-Whitewater in 1966. Tom married Judi Guagliardo on Nov. 25, 1967, in Milwaukee. They moved to Phoenix and Tucson, and in 1990 moved back to Wisconsin, working at McLaughlin Construction Co. in Waupaca. After retiring in 2005, Tom returned to the Phoenix area. Tom was an avid golfer and took great pride in following Steve Stricker's career. Tom was a voracious reader, reading twelve to fifteen books a month.
Tom is survived by his brother, James T. (Dorothy) Ford of Stevens Point; a sister, Joan Fox of Edgerton; and several nieces and nephews in Edgerton and Stevens Point. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Roger Fox; and nephew, Kevin Ford.
Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staffs at Chandler Medical Hospital, the VA Hospital, the Vets Home and St. Joseph's Hospital, all in Phoenix.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Edgerton, with Father Dave Timmerman officiating. WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family.
