Mary Kathryn (Saur) Blaugh, 55, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Janesville, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 15, 2009, at her home. She was born Sept. 19, 1954, in Janesville, the daughter of the late Donald & Helen (McCarthy) Saur. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and was a graduate of St. Mary’s School. She was a graduate of Craig High School, Class of 1972. On June 24, 1978 she married David M. Blaugh at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A homemaker, she was a devoted and loving wife and mother.
Mary is survived by her husband, David, her two sons, Andrew (Alexis) Blaugh of Wauwatosa, WI, and Christopher Blaugh of Naperville; her brother, Don Saur of Mission, KS; her mother-in-law, Lois Blaugh of Warren, IN; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Susan (Ken) McKinley of Bluffton, OH, Jean (Dale) Kem of Huntington, IN, James Blaugh of Bedminster, NJ, and Lee (Richard) Warnes of Elm Grove, WI; her aunt, Mary L. Pelzer of Oak Park, IL; and by nieces, nephews, and many cousins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Saur; and her father-in-law, Max Blaugh.
A visitation will be held from 2 until 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at the BEIDELMAN-KUNSCH FUNERAL HOME, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, with a Prayer Service at 6 p.m. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at MT. OLIVET CEMETERY. Memorials in Mary’s name may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 8765 W. Higgins Rd., Suite 401, Chicago, IL 60631.
