Ruby A. Boniface, Elkhorn  (1928 - 2009)

Ruby Amelia Boniface went to be with her Lord on Oct. 18, 2009, at Holton Manor in Elkhorn. Ruby was born in Cottage Grove, WI, on Aug. 6, 1928, to the late Walter and Elizabeth Richards. She grew up in Dane, WI. She married Robert W. Boniface on Oct. 13, 1951. She and her husband were part of the founding members of Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church in Elkhorn. She was a member of the “Empty Nesters” small group from their church, the Gideon’s Auxiliary, Delavan Service League Book Review, and formerly the Clown Town Cloggers and the Limber Timbers Square Dance Club. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, sewing, and traveling.
She is survived by her husband; four children: Chad (Linda) of Franklin, NC, Tina Hudy (Jay) of Darien, Scott (Laura) of Cleveland, OH, and Greg of Darien: five grandchildren: Nathan (Jessica) and Paul Boniface, Jennifer and Michelle Hudy, and Andrew Boniface; two great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Sarah Boniface; one brother, Marvin (Audrae) Richards of Dane; three sisters: Marge (Marcel) Ripp of Lodi, Alice Georgeson of Dane, and Marilyn Richards of Waunakee; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janice; and her brother, Harold.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to the Gideons or Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church, at N6686 US Hwy. 12 north of Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 22, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the SOUTHERN LAKES EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, with Rev. Sean Sweetman officiating, at the CHURCH. Both the visitation and the funeral will be at Southern Lakes Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be at Darien Cemetery in Darien, WI. MONROE FUNERAL HOME, Delavan, is assisting the family.
