Birger and Anne S. Juell, Whitewater (2010)

Birger Juell, 93, formerly of Kristiansand, Norway, and Anne S. Juell, 77, formerly of Grand Rapids, MI, drowned at their Whitewater Lake House Oct. 2, 2010, from an apparent swimming accident.
They were the loving mother and father of Halland Juell, Chuck (Debbie) Norris, Bruce Norris, Scott (Stefanie) Norris, Mark (Jayne) Norris, and Laura (Greg) Lohse; grandparents of 17; and great-grandparents of 9. Birger was the brother of Marna Grindland, and Anne was the sister of Richard (Carol) Schaddelee.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 3 until 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at SMITH-CORCORAN FUNERAL HOME, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the CHICAGO YACHT CLUB, The Foot of Monroe St., Chicago, on Sunday, Oct. 10, from 4 until 8 p.m. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations to the Chicago Maritime Society, 310 S.
