Gregory “Klyde” A. Bahr, 59, Milton, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at home. He was born in Janesville on July 14, 1951, the son of Elgin and Jane (Godfrey) Bahr. He graduated from UW Whitewater, and had been a Janesville area resident most of his life.
Greg owned Greg Bahr Builders, and mentored many young carpenters including his nephews. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed bungee jumping, sky diving, hang gliding, skiing, golfing with his buddies, and anything with a thrill. He loved to restore old sports cars, and making barn wood furniture.
Greg is survived by his three siblings: Monica (Bill) Ahlstrom of Texas, Mary (Marty) Wacha and John (Dorothy) Bahr, both of Janesville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and beloved sister and best friend, Margaret.

Klyde was a great conversationalist who lit up the room when he entered.
He will be deeply missed by his family and numerous lifelong friends.
