Kenneth G. Willis, 85, Walworth, WI, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at the Williams Bay Care Center in Williams Bay, WI. Kenneth was born on Sept. 11, 1925, in Fond du Lac, WI, to parents Robert and Lillie (Schwartz) Willis. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Peterson on April 30, 1955, at the Brick Church at Walworth, WI. He proudly served his country in Germany in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. Kenneth received his Journeyman's Certificate after attending junior college in Racine, WI. Much of his working career, he worked as a plastering contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughters, Christine A. Willis of North Port, FL, and Cathleen Willis of Elkhorn, WI; four grandchildren: Brandon & Jennifer Koester of Walworth, WI, Alisha and husband Orson Bangert of Riverside, MO, and Jennifer and husband Jim McMannamy of Appleton, WI; and two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Indy. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Ray; and a sister, Helen.
Memorial services for Kenneth G. Willis will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at the GRACE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH in Walworth, WI, with Pastors Joseph Fultz and Wayne Rohde, officiating. TOYNTON FUNERAL HOME of Walworth, WI is assisting the family with the arrangements.
