Pansy May Gibbs, Janesville  (1922 - 2012)

Pansy May Gibbs, age 90, of Janesville, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital. She was born in Colorado, on Feb. 23, 1922, the daughter of Henry and Elsie (Wight) Stover. She married James E. Gibbs in Greenfield, CA, in July of 1939, and he preceded her in death in 2005. May had been a Janesville resident since 2005.
She is survived by her two sons, Eugene (Judith) Gibbs of Janesville, and Richard Gibbs of Wendell, NC; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a grandson, Joel Gibbs; daughter-in-law, Sherry Gibbs; two brothers; a half-brother; and half-sister.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH with Rev. Bruce Jones officiating.
