James Richard Husen, Janesville  (1930 - 2012)

Jim Husen, age 82, of Janesville, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12, 2012, with loving family at his side. Jim was born May 20, 1930, in Janesville, WI, the son of George and Edith Husen. Jim graduated from Janesville High School, and served in the United States Marine Corps. He married Rose Carlene Obligato on July 26, 1969, and they were blessed with the birth of a daughter and two sons. He worked for Janesville Sand & Gravel for 34 years, and later the Janesville School District. In addition, Jim developed lasting professional and personal relationships through his love and talent for landscaping.
Jim is survived by his wife, Rose Carlene of Janesville, WI; daughter, Nicole (Trip) of Chatham, NJ and Boston, MA; sons, Mark (Ann) of Kimberly, WI, and Chad of Chicago, IL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Jack, Dan, and Joan; and a nephew, Mike.
A funeral mass will be held at ST. MARY’S CHURCH on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at 10:30 am. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, from 4 until 6 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
