Nancy Brown, 66, of Kenmure, died on Nov. 28, 2012. The daughter of Thomas and Mary Nolan, she was born and raised in Janesville, but went on to travel the world both in her role as a military spouse and for fun. In addition to postings throughout the United States, she lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina and traveled extensively in Europe. A noted gourmand, Nancy will be remembered fondly for her love of family, welcoming spirit, as well of her passion of cooking and entertaining.
Nancy is survived by her spouse of 43 years, Dick Brown; her daughter, Jen Brown; her son, Dan Brown and his wife, Laura; her brother, Jim Nolan and his wife Pat; as well as many beloved relatives and friends.
A visitation for Nancy will be held from 4 until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at THOS. SHEPHERD AND SON, 125 South Church Street, Hendersonville. There will be a funeral mass at 10 am. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 208 7th Avenue West, Hendersonville. Following the mass, there will be a reception to honor Nancy's life in the Charleston Room at Kenmure Country Club.
