Leland A. "Lee" Krebs, Clinton, WI  (1932 - 2012)

Leland A. “Lee” Krebs, 80, of Clinton, WI, died, Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, in the Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born July 3, 1932, in Clinton, WI, the son of George and Esther (Arneson) Krebs. Lee was a graduate of Clinton High School and attended Blackhawk Technical College. He was a Korean War veteran serving with the U.S. Army. Lee married Marjorie Milner on July 13, 1957, in Christ Lutheran Church, Clinton, WI. She predeceased him on Nov. 13, 2005.
Lee was formerly employed by Borg Fabrics in Delavan, for 30 years. He then was employed by Durst Corp in Shopiere, and was a realtor for various Real Estate Agencies in the area. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, spending time with his family and was very involved with the deaf community in Delavan. He was a former Clinton Village board member and a past commander for the American Legion Dary Paulsen Post #440.
Survivors include his son, Scot (fiancé, Lori Huntoon) Krebs of Beloit, WI; daughter, Tammy Krebs of Clinton, WI; grandchildren: Jennifer, Amy and Alycia Krebs; great-grandchild, Willow Gravert; sister, Helen Johnson of Beloit, WI; and brother, George Krebs of St. Louis, MO. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Donald and Clifford.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Pastor Ed Greenfield officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the FUNERAL HOME.
Memorials may be given in his name to the Salvation Army.
