Alice Juno, 80, of Beloit, WI, passed on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 3, 1932, in Vernon County, Viola, WI, the daughter of George and Florence (Hunter) Hocking. Alice was a graduate of Viola High School. She married Robert Juno on July 18, 1952, in Viroqua, WI. He predeceased her on April 2, 2006. Alice was formerly employed by Beloit Power Systems and CPI, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her two children, Randy (Cindy) Juno and Patti (John) Vance, both of Beloit, WI; daughter-in-law, Hope Juno of Beloit; “adopted” daughter, Sue (Mike) Fisher-Skaife; ten grandchildren: Jessica Juno, Jason (Cassandra) Juno, Randy Berger, Ben (Julie) Vance, Jon Vance, Heather (Dan) Banks, Samantha (Chris) Deen, Chelsea Mullvain, Kaitlin Juno and Austin Vance; ten great-grandchildren: Daijon Riggins, Logan Riggins, Kylee Juno, Kolton Berger, Ashlee, Devon, Dylan, Jason, Jr. Juno, Emma and Caleb Banks; two sisters, Jean (Clarence) Peterson and Betty Lockner; numerous special nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
She was predeceased by her parents; son, John Juno; sisters: Marjorie Ramsdon, twin sister, Avis Wellnitz and Pat Hill; in-laws, William and Ethel Juno; and brothers-in-law, Butch and Bud Juno, Doyle Hill and George Lockner.
The family would like to thank her sister-in-law, Laura Juno, Dr. William Fitzgerald, Reverend Kurt Handrich, Beloit Regional Hospice, friends and family for the visits and compassion that we will hold close in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at the DALEY MURPHY WISCH & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORIUM, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with Reverend Kurt Handrich officiating. Burial will be in Shopiere Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME.
