Jerilyn "Jeri" I. Hallenberg, 65, of Elkhorn, WI, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at her residence. Jerilyn was born Sept. 3, 1947, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harold H. and Irmgard (Schworz) Hanssen. She was united in marriage to Arthur B. Hallenberg on March 1, 1969, in Chicago, IL. She was a member of St. Patrick Catho-lic Church, Elkhorn. Jerilyn was employed as a CNA for the Lutheran Social Services.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur; her daughter, Shawne (Terry) Reid of Rockton, IL; her son, Arthur (Megan) Hallenberg, III of Midvale, UT; her grandchildren: Ryan and Wyatt Reid, Ryder and Alexis Hallen-berg; and two brothers, Jeffery (Kathy) and Timothy (Ronda) Hanssen, both of Elkhorn. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Emma; and one brother, Harold Hanssen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Oreo officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the STEINKE FUNERAL HOME, Lake Geneva, from 5 until 9 p.m.
