Helen Rose Fassbinder, Lake Geneva, WI  (1925 - 2012)

Helen Rose Fassbinder, age 87, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Geneva Lake Manor in Lake Geneva. Helen was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Janesville, WI, to parents, Frank Joseph and Evelyn (Raible) Fassbinder. As an infant, she was baptized in the Catholic faith at St. Benedict Church. She received her high school education attending Walworth High School in Walworth, WI, where she graduated in 1943. Helen was a secretary for different businesses around Walworth County. More recently, she was a secretary for 18 years at Hevi-Duty Company, which made lighting for airports. Her greatest joys in life were swimming and bowling. Some of her other favorite past times included playing the piano, gardening, enjoying the out-of-doors, and a love of watching nature, especially the animals.
Helen is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John; and two infant siblings.
Services for Helen Fassbinder will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 11 a.m. at ST. BENEDICT CATHOLIC CHURCH in Fontana, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the CHURCH. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Delavan, WI. TOYNTON FUNERAL HOME of Walworth, WI, is assisting the family with arrangements.
