Barbara Joanne Yvonne (Fiers) Davidson died at home peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 29, 2012. Born in Viroqua to Adah (Peterson) and Tab Severson on Oct. 9, 1937, she was raised in Westby, WI. She worked as a CNA and childcare specialist until her retirement at the age of 64 in 2002.
Barbara was married to Melvin Junior Davidson on March 17, 1956. They had five daughters: Rose (Corrie) Davidson, Noreen "Joni" (Randy) Phillips, Yvonne (Rodney) Loofboro, Valerie (Joel) Phillips, Melanie Davidson; and a bonus child, Shayla (Chris) Brotzman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; her mother, Adah; daughter, Valerie; granddaughter, Kristina; and others.
She is survived by her daughters, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the WESTBY COON PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH, Westby, WI. Burial will be at the Coon Prairie Lutheran Cemetery, Westby, WI. Visitation times will be Thursday from 3 until 5 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME Milton. She will love and watch over us all from Heaven.
