Phyllis E. Miller, age 83, of Janesville, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at home. She was born in LaFarge, WI, on Aug. 17, 1928, the daughter of Alton and Bessie (Parkhaust) Parr. She was a 1946 graduate of LaFarge High School, and she married Byron Miller in Westby on Sept. 8, 1946.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Byron Miller; seven chil-dren: Kathy Whitney of Payne, OH, Jackie Sweatt of Janesville, Ed (Louise) Miller of Baldwin, WI, Sheila (Red) St. Clair, Justin Miller, Rusty (Chris) Miller and Kim Acosta, all of Janesville; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Monica) Parr of Janesville; and a sister, Betty Lowrey of Hillsboro, WI. She was pre-ceded in death by her parents; three infant babies; granddaughter, Heidi; sister, Kathy Jean; and a brother, Jerry Parr.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, July 5, 2012, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Daniel Grimes officiating.
