Herbert D. Falk, Edgerton, WI  (1927 - 2012)

Herbert D. Falk, 84, of Edgerton, died at Edgerton Care Center on Sunday, June 10, 2012. Herb was born on Nov. 4, 1927, in Whitewater, WI, to the late Herman and Grace (Ingersoll) Falk. He was a proud member of the US Army. On Dec. 11, 1948, Herb married Esther Robinson in Edgerton, WI. He worked for 30 years as a Relief Repairman at General Motors. Herb was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Edgerton and a member of the Local UAW #95. He loved farming, and taking the grandkids hunting and fishing.
Herb is survived by his wife, Esther Falk of Edgerton, WI; two sons: Dale (Jan) Falk of AR, Allen (Kathy) Falk of Janesville, WI; 12 grandchildren: Quinn (Jenna Staffaroni) Falk of Janesville, Aaron (Kayla Pearson) Falk of Janesville, Cathy Falk of Edgerton, Stacy Reed, Carl Roe, Rebecca Falk, Dale Falk, Brandy Falk, Steven Falk, Christine Falk, Danielle Falk, and Jessie Falk, all of AR; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Gerald (Nory) Falk of Montello, WI; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John Falk; one grandchild, Allison Falk; one brother, Donald Falk; and one sister, Mae Wenzel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012, at ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Edgerton, with Rev. Carl Seeger officiating. Burial and Military Rites will follow at Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012, from 4:30 until 7 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, EDGERTON and from 10 a.m. until the start of the service at the CHURCH on Friday. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Herbs' name.
