Diane M. Lass, 71, of Elkhorn, WI, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. She was born Nov. 8, 1940, in West Allis, WI. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Esther (Weyer) Schackel. On Sept. 19, 1959, Diane was united in marriage to Charles F. Lass in Milwaukee, WI. Diane worked for many years as an administrative assistant with the financial banking industry. Diane was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served on the board of directors of the Harvest Point Condo Association. She enjoyed gardening, watching game shows, working word puzzles and playing on the computer.
Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years, Chuck; three children: Tammy (Scott) Conrad of Hartford, WI, Jill (Dave Rowe) Lass of Elkhorn, WI, and Scott (Teresa Boettner) Lass of West Allis, WI; three grandchildren: Lori (Chip) Winkelman, David (Maddie) Conrad and Jason (Tiffany) Conrad; five great-grandchildren: Shaun, Masen, Aarin, Trent and Riley.
Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012, at HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, with Rev. Marvin Rowe officiating.
