Mary Alice Brotz, Delavan, WI  (1926 - 2012)

Mary A. Brotz, age 85, of Delavan, WI, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, WI. She was born July 10, 1926, the daughter of Albert and Julia (Vermaat) Krummen. Mary married Norbert W. Brotz in 1952 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan. She was employed with the Lakeview School in Whitewater, as a Kitchen Aide for many years before
becoming The Director of the Whitewater School District Lunch Program. She was a long time member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Beth Hicks of West Allis WI; her sons: John (Kim) of Delavan, Bruce (Norma) of Phillips WI, and Jeff of Delavan; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Millie Voller; and her brother, Edward Krummen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert; one sister, Julia Retzlaff; and two brothers, Albert and Lawrence.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at OUR REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH in Delavan, WI, with Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan.
