James M. Brandenburg, age 62, of East Troy, WI, formerly of Brodhead, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Madison, WI. He was born on Nov. 16, 1949, in Monroe, WI, the son of Marvin R. and Lillian (Fleek) Brandenburg. He married Kathy J. Larson on Dec. 19, 1970, in Evansville, WI. Jim graduated from Brodhead High School in 1967, and worked in the grocery business.
Jim is survived by his former wife of 40 years, Kathy; two sons, Adam James Brandenburg of Footville, WI, and Joseph Don Brandenbrg of Elkhorn, WI; a daughter, Jenny J. (Mark) Hoke of Elkhorn, WI; a brother, George (Cindy) Brandenburg of Mt. Horeb, WI; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susan McGinty.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the UNITED CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, Brodhead, with Rev. R. Tiffany Bates officiating.
