Joshua Wade Yates, Elkhorn, WI  (1974 - 2012)

Joshua W. Yates, age 38, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. He was born Aug. 24, 1974, in Kenosha WI, the son of Melvin and Cheryl (Boatright) Yates. Joshua was a 1992 graduate of Delavan-Darien High School. He was an Auto Body Mechanic employed at Anderson Auto Body in Clinton WI. Joshua was an active member of the Sugar Creek 4-H. He was also an avid Packer and Brewer fan. He knew Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was good hearted, a hard worker and friendly to all he met. He was loved by his friends and family. Joshua cherished Dana and his three girls.
Joshua is survived by his fiancée, Dana Horak of Elkhorn; his three daughters: MiKayla, Olivia and Alaina; his mother and step-father, Cheryl (Ed) Stephan of Darien; his brother, Jason (Jennifer Wilson) Yates of Darien; his grandparents, Fred (Dorothy) Boatright; a niece, Natalie Yates; and nephew, Nathan Wilson-Yates. Joshua was a loving son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Yates; and one sister, Dawn Renee Yates.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at the MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, with Joshua's grandfather, Rev. Fred Boatright officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, from 4 until 7 p.m. at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon WI. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan, WI, is assisting the family.
