Kathy Froeber Demus, age 54, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in her home. She was born June 26, 1958, daughter of Gilbert and Ruth (King) Froeber in Beloit, WI. Kathy worked at GM in Janesville for 30 years and was a member of Local UW 95. She enjoyed bowling and being a caregiver to her family and extended family. Kathy was a spirited person who lived life as she saw fit. She was a loving and caring person, spoiling her grandchildren and enjoying every minute of it. Her enthusiasm for life will be greatly missed by all.
Kathy is survived by her son, Richard (Jessica) Banker; her daughter, Angie (Clarence III) Kooyman; her mother, Ruth (Ralph) Simplot; four grandchildren: Cody, Trevin, Shawn and Kyle; three brothers: Gary (Nancy) Froeber, David (Jeanine) Froeber and John Froeber; and her ex-husband, Gene Banker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Demus; her father, Gilbert Froeber, Sr.; her brother, Gilbert Froeber, Jr.; and two infant sisters.
The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice, the many caretakers and especially her special friend, Diana, for all the care and compassion they gave Mom.
Kathy’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at the BRIAN MARK FUNERAL HOME, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, with the Chaplain Daniel J. Grimes officiating. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the FUNERAL HOME from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Following the service, the cortege will proceed to Rockton Cemetery for Interment.
