Anita H. Vorpagel, 85, of Springfield, WI, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Geneva Lake Manor Nursing Home, Lake Geneva, WI. Anita was born July 26, 1927, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Fred and Louise (Schindel) Neiman. She was united in marriage to Lyle Vorpagel March 12, 1949, in Lake Geneva. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Burlington, WI.
Surviving are her husband, Lyle; daughters, Corrinne (Steve) Boelter of Texas and Janet (Greg) Kraft of Elkhorn, WI; a son, Bruce (Margaret) Vorpagel of Cottage Grove, St. Paul, MN; and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Marie; one sister; and three brothers.
Services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH, Burlington, WI, with Pastor Robert Bolling officiating. Burial will be held at Hudson Cemetery, Lyons, WI. Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. until the time of services at the CHURCH. Memorials may be made in Anita's name to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 417 S. Kane St., Burlington, WI 53105 or Love Inc.
