Joyce B. Kasmiskie, 80, formerly of Janesville, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Texas. She was born May 20, 1932, daughter of Hilton and Dagmar (Aggerholm) Sabatke. She married Roger Kasmiskie on Jan. 17, 1953, in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam, WI. Joyce was an executive secretary for several companies in Janesville, including Highway Trailer and Parker Pen. She had many wonderful, long-time friends and was an active member in her church and community. She loved to travel with her husband; most often it was to the five states where her children and grandchildren lived.
Joyce is survived by her five children: Roxanne (Thomas) Grieco of Chicago, IL, Ricardo (Carol) of Plano, TX, Kevin (Elizabeth) of Edina, MN, Kent (Jenny) of Snellville, GA, and David (Cindy) of Overland Park, KS; 12 grandchildren: Justin, Daniel, Ryan, Luke, Allison, Brentt, Lauren, Spencer, Zack, Caroline, Jesse, and Julia; and one great-granddaughter, Selah. Joyce was predeceased by her husband; parents; two sisters, and one brother.
A celebration of Joyce’s life will take place on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Janesville, with Christian Mass following at 11:30. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, County Highway G/South Spring St, Beaver Dam, WI. at 4 p.m.
