Francis "Frank" George Branfort, Elkhorn, WI  (1939 - 2012)

Francis “Frank” George Branfort, 73, of Tippecanoe Trail, Elkhorn, WI, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his residence. He was born Oct. 10, 1939, in Elkhorn, WI, the son of Marshall and Fern (Cummings) Branfort. He served his country in the National Guard. Frank was united in marriage to Nancy Ann Ludeman Jan. 23, 1982, in Elkhorn, WI. Nancy died April 26, 2009. He farmed during the day and worked nights at A.O Smith of Elkhorn, for over 20 years and retired from USG of Walworth, WI, after 22 years. Frank enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Frank is survived by his mother, Fern Branfort of East Troy, WI; two brothers, George (Sandra) Branfort of East Troy, WI, and David (Jerita) Branfort of Union Center, WI; one brother-in-law, Michael Maciosek of East Troy, WI; two step-sons, Terry Ickes of Elkhorn, WI, and Wayne (Linda) Ickes of Milton, WI; three step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Branfort; wife of 27 years, Nancy; two sisters, Kathleen Maciosek and Linda Branfort; and one brother, John Branfort.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at HAASE-LOCKWOOD & ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, 730 N. Wisconsin Street, Elkhorn, WI. Burial will be at Mt.
