Dorothy I. Millard, Janesville  (1927 - 2012)

Dorothy I. Millard, age 84, of Janesville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, Nov. 24, 2012, at her home. She was born Dec. 9, 1927, the daughter of the late Richard and Ruby (Hunt) Stelter. She was married to George E. Millard on Jan.4, 1949. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1988. She had worked in the Electronics industry and retired after working for many years at SSI.
Dorothy is survived by her four children: William (Vicki) Millard, Paul (Sue) Millard, both of Milton, WI, Allan (Debby) Millard, of Clinton, WI, and Jackie (Russell) Carrington, of Pardeeville, WI; a brother, Donald Stelter, of Tempe, AZ; 11 grandchildren; and nieces; nephews; and friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Wesley, Ella, Norma and Mary Lou.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Burial will take place in Johnstown Center Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the FUNERAL HOME.
Dorothy was a woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her!
