Anna M. Strohm, 77, formerly of Lyons, WI, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at the Lakeland Health Care Center, Elkhorn, WI. Anna was born Oct. 15, 1935, in Troy Center, WI, the daughter of Herman and Theresa M. Baker Gruetzmacher. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lyons, WI. She was employed for several years at Brunk Industries and retired in 2006.
Surviving are her daughters: Linda Skiles of Lyons, Sandra (Mark) Eschenbacher of Kadoka, SD, and Kimberly Vos of Lyons; her sons, Jeffrey Strohm of Lyons and John (Natayla) Strohm of Mukilteo, WA; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Ester (Robert Stewart) Swatek of Elkhorn, WI; sisters-in-law, Ida and Ruth Gruetzmacher; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Ellefson. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Luella Ellefson; two brothers, Herman and William Gruetzmacher; and a son-in-law, Kelly Skiles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Lyons, WI, with Fr. John Baumgartner officiating. Burial will be at the Parish Cemetery.
