WILLIAMS BAY—Ethel M. Kons, age 100, of Williams Bay, WI, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the Williams Bay Care Center. Ethel was born April 7, 1912, at Menomonee Falls, WI, to parents Robert and Anna (Pfeil) Duehring. She was united in marriage to Raymond P. Kons on Oct. 24, 1934, in Chicago, IL. Together they owned and operated the Chalet restaurant in Williams Bay, WI.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Suzanne and husband "Buck" Ammon of Williams Bay; granddaughters: Angela and husband, Kevin Egglestron of Oconomowoc, WI, and Jacqueline and husband, Christopher Taylor of Madison, WI; and great-grandchildren: Amber and Rachel Eggleston, and Jillian and Brandon Taylor. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond on Sept. 12, 1979; two brothers, Edward and Ervin; and two sisters, Dorothy and Eleanor.
Graveside services for Ethel Kons will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Roselawn Memory Garden at Williams Bay, WI, with Rev. Jeanette Strandjord, officiating. TOYNTON FUNERAL HOME of Walworth, WI, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
