Isabelle J. "Issy" Stoll, Whitewater, WI  (1932 - 2012)

October 13, 1932 - October 26, 2012
Isabelle J. "Issy" (Crane) Stoll, 80, of Whitewater, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Fairhaven Nursing Home attended by her loving family. Issy was born Oct. 13, 1932, in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Harrison High School of Chicago, in 1950, and went on to marry the love of her life, Rene, on Feb. 20, 1954, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Chicago. She and Rene, along with their two sons, eventually moved from Chicago, to the home Rene built for them just outside of Delavan, WI, on Turtle Lake, and shortly thereafter, their daughter was born. Over the next 16 years, Issy worked at Delavan Darien High School as a secretary, served as clerk for Richmond Township, and obtained her real estate license. In 1979, the family moved to Whitewater Lake, and she went on to open two real estate offices, L&S Realty, Whitewater, and Coldwell Banker TLC Realty, Elkhorn. One of the proudest moments of her successful real estate career was being named Realtor of the Year for Walworth County. During retirement, Issy and Ray lived in Milton and Janesville, and became "snowbirds" traveling the South in their motorhome and eventually settling down in Leesburg, FL. Issy loved throwing parties, traveling, shopping, casinos, playing card and board games (at which her beloved son-in-law frequently claimed she was cheating and making up her own rules), the Fireside, and spending time with family and friends.
Issy is survived by her son, Karl (Susan) Stoll of Whitewater; her daughter, Lisa (David) Kroeger of Lindenhurst, IL; a son, Eric Stoll of Park Falls, WI; and two beautiful granddaughters: Renee and Emily Stoll of Whitewater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rene Philip Stoll; her parents; her siblings; and her infant daughter, Yvonne.
