Jeanette A. Jones, 79, of Janesville, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville. Jeanette was born on May 3, 1933, in Madison, WI, to the late Richard H. and Grace (Waterman) Jones. She worked for over 30 years at Beloit Corp. doing data processing. Jeanette loved to sew and make quilts. She also loved her photography and would sit and take photo's of the squirrels and hummingbirds. She loved to travel, making it to such destinations like Hawaii. She was a member of the Athletic Club and loved to shop.
Jeanette is survived by her three brothers: Tom (Pat) Jones of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Robert Jones of Janesville, and George (Audrey) Jones of Deerfield; a half brother, Richard Jones, Jr.; and a sister: Beverly Stoughton; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; a half sister, Kathleen; and sister-in-law, Donna Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 12, 2012, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON, with Rev. Herb Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept 12, 2012, at the FUNERAL HOME from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.
