Rodney D. "Ole" Olson, Edgerton, WI  (1953 - 2012)

Rodney D. "Ole" Olson, 59, of Edgerton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, at his residence. He was born on Jan. 16, 1953, in Edgerton, son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Helgestad) Olson. Rod worked at IKI for over 20 years, where he was a group leader in the silk screening department. He enjoyed fishing, long rides in the country, yard work, gardening, watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He was a very proud father of his daughter, LaSonda, and "Granpa Rod" to his grandson's, Ryan and Owen.
Rod is survived by one daughter, La Sonda (Derek) Hahn; two grandson's, Ryan and Owen Hahn, all of Janesville; four sisters, Donna Mott of Buffalo, NY, Geraldine (Randall) Lochner, Judith (Stewart) Kopke, and Betty Olson; one brother, Harlan Olson, all of Edgerton; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A gathering and celebration of Rod's life will be held on, Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at the EHLERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS SERVICES, US HWY 51 S, Edgerton, from 4 until 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Fassett Cemetery.
