Alyson Michelle Tirpak Burn, Janesville (2013)
February 8, 2013
Alyson Michelle Tirpak Burn, age 34, of Janesville, died on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, due to an auto accident. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the daughter of Michael and Carol (Cone) Tirpak. Her father's family, along with many friends, shared the first ten years, raising her to be the strong, beautiful, passionate woman she became. In 1988, she and her family moved to Janesville, WI, nearer her mother's family, where Alyson again has left her indelible mark on family and friends. She graduated from Craig High School in 1997, wandered to New Mexico, Madison, WI, where she briefly married, and out to Portland, OR. It was there that she decided on parenthood with David McCreery. One of the greatest lights of her life was born in December 2008, at home, as she had wanted. The other great light in her life was a childhood friend, Patrick Burdick. He had always "been there" for Aly through the years. It wasn't until after her return to Janesville, in December 2010, that their friendship grew, completing her. In addition to being a devoted wonderful mother and friend, Alyson was attending UW Rock County and also worked in the library. She was an unforgettable young woman who will be missed and is so loved by most who knew her.
Alyson is survived by her daughter, Cleadora Elizabeth; partner, Patrick Burdick of Janesville; parents, Michael and Carol Tirpak of Janesville; sister, Stephanie (Scott) Kaurin of Warrenville, IL; niece Cayleigh Anne; her aunts: Andrea Tirpak (Donald Winder), Ruth Weiss (William), Barbara Kaiser(Douglas), Sandra Cone; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
