Jeff A. Anderson, 41, of rural Cambridge, died unexpectedly on Feb. 17, 2013. He was born Jan. 12, 1972, to Anthony and Joyce (Lawrence) in Janesville, WI. He was baptized and confirmed at the Faith Lutheran Church in Janesville. He attended Parker High School and graduated from the Royall High School in 1990. After high school, Jeff attended the Madison Area Technical College. He was united in marriage to Nichole “Nicky” Staude on Jan. 5, 2001, at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. He was a self-employed contractor and worked mainly in the Madison Area. He had a fun loving personality. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed bow hunting and deer hunting on the family farm in the Town of Fountain. He especially enjoyed his trips to the Canadian Boundary Waters and out west to Colorado. He also enjoyed taking walks in the woods with his wife and their dogs. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed a good bonfire and the times shared. He was a member of the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Nichole “Nicky” of Cambridge; his parents, Anthony and Joyce of Kendall; his brother, David (Mary) of West Salem; a sister, Lisa (Jim) Krebs of Janesville; two nephews, Alex and Andy Krebs; a niece, Dylan Staude; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Jane Staude of Jefferson; a brother-in-law, Ron (Eve) Staude of Catawba, NC; his doggy companions, Calvin and Bosley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary, and his grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at 12 Noon at the FOUNTAIN LUTHERAN CHURCH, Town of Fountain. Pastor Wesley Dunbar will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the CHURCH on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The SMITH-NELSON FUNERAL HOME, Kendall, is assisting the family with arrangements.
