Pamela C. Thompson, age 81, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at her home. She was born on March 23, 1931, in Elkhorn, WI. Pam was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ruth (Wells) Baker. She was married to Richard M. Thompson on Nov. 17, 1951, at St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church in Elkhorn, WI. Pam graduated from Elkhorn Area High School in 1949. She attended Milton College, University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire, and the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Pamela was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Episcopal Church and was very involved in the work of the church. Pam enjoyed antiques and had a beautiful collection of butter pats.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard; her daughter, Martha (Billy) Hadfield of Leavenworth, KS; her two grandchildren, Molly and Byron Hadfield; as well as her cat, Violet. She was preceded in death by her son, Peter.
A funeral Mass will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at ST. JOHN'S IN THE WILDERNESS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 13 S. Church St., Elkhorn, WI.
