George Wendt, age 62, of Winter Garden, FL, and Janesville, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at his home in Winter Garden. He was born on Jan. 5, 1951, in Chicago, IL, the son of George and Elsie (Miller) Wendt. George had been employed by UNISYS and Home Depot and was a member of Faith Community Church in Janesville.
George is survived by his wife, Phyllis Wendt of Washington, DC; two sons, George (Ashley Martin) Wendt of Winter Garden, FL, and Jason Wendt of Wheaton, MD; mother, Elsie Wendt of Crystal Lake, IL; two sisters, Judy Tolman of Poinciana, FL, and Eileen Breitzke of Crystal Lake, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan 21, 2013, at FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH, Janesville, with Pastor Tim Bales presiding. Entombment will be in the Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
